No, VFS isn't dead, it's just not... alive... right now. As it often happens, things get busy, people move away, and sometimes you go on a cross-country road trip by yourself and blow up your car in the middle of Kansas, winding up on a Greyhound and spending the night at the Denver bus terminal before crashing at a friend of a friend's place in Fort Collins. Thanks to everyone for your fanmail, I really appreciate that. It seems right now, though, that VFS is on an indefinite hiatus. This isn't goodbye, it's just... WOW, look at that shiny thing over there!
About
Inspired by the unwidely acclaimed Radio Free Somethingrather, Video Free Somethingrather is an expermental foray into the world of internet broadcasting. It was produced with nearly zero budget (So far the only expenses are the $16 camera battery and a $20 tripod, both of which are used for other things) and several very unstable sources of creativity.
Simply put, Video Free Somethingrather is deep-fried pure awesome on a stick.
WARNING
VFS is produced for a mature audience. It may contain swearing, violent videogame footage, drug and alcohol references, copyright violations, suicide, sexual references, poor acting, bizarre internet memes, references to Japanese pop culture, guns, lots of guns, rock music, Monty Python references, red meat, and instances of Attention Deficit Disorder. Children, immature adults, and Jack Thompson are advised not to watch VFS. But I repeat myself.

Formats
Each episode comes in three different flavors of XviD-encoded goodness. Good VHS quality is 1500kbit video with 128kbit stereo audio. Bad VHS quality is 900kbit video with 96kbit stereo audio. Crap quality is 300kbit video with 32kbit mono audio. Crap quality is watchable, but lacking in detail. I'd recommend Bad VHS quality for casual viewing. If you're planning on modifying or otherwise using the footage in your own material, get the Good VHS quality.
